NANO NOW

                                           NANO NOW

A black bird flew backwards
across the pink page of dawn,
erasing its words as it wrote:

no first time,
                                                no last time,
                                                            just this time;
                                                            so string together
                                                an infinite necklace
of nano nows

and live each moment
                                                            to the full
in the eternal present
                                                            of timelessness,

                                         forgiving of the past,

                                      unmindful of the morrow.
