MORNING THOUGHTS

       MORNING THOUGHTS

          Listening to Sibelius,

          not seeking ecstasy,

          just a balance of being,

          gift on temporary loan,

         thinking about

         the three great

         monotheistic religions:

         Judaism, the oldest,

         but with by far

         the fewest members today. 

         Christianity , with over

         two billion believers,

         but divided into

         multiple denominations.

.

         Islam, almost as many

         Muslims as Christians,

         pious, peace-loving people,

         but a healthy percentage

         of followers who think it

         a holy act

         to kill anyone

         who does not accept

         Allah as God. 

        The world is watching,

        as well as Belial.
