OF BIRDS AND AUTOS
The birds arrive at half past five
unless a fallen leaf or two
until they move or fly away
becoming birds again.
My backyard birds
of every hue and species
live in peace,
a lesson for us,
except that we’re
too smart to learn.
And as for driverless cars,
will they know
where they’re going
and what will they do
when they get there?
